Packaging Info

Goodbye plastic!

I've recently made a few positive changes to how I package my originals and prints.
It's something that I've wanted to do for a while now, to become more eco-friendly.

So here's a detailed description of what I use to package your art.

Cardboard Envelopes

I got rid of my old white bubble wrap envelopes and opted for a strong, rigid cardboard wrap envelope instead. These thick cardboard envelopes are much stronger and they're also biodegradable!

Glassine

I no longer use plastic cellophane sleeves to place your portraits in to keep clean. I now use Glassine (or crystal paper) sleeves.

Glassine is a smooth and glossy paper that is air, water and grease resistant. Made with 100% cellulose makes it recyclable and compostable in accordance with EN 13432. It's also acid free and ph neutral to keep your artwork safe and clean.

Kraft Tape

Gone is the plastic packing tape I used to use. Now I seal all edges of your cardboard envelope with kraft paper tape. Which makes it the perfect choice for recycling.
